Profile Picture, Projects and Time Change

**********

I need to update my profile picture. The one I'm using has aged a wee bit.

I like this one ....

Hurricane Zeta is moving toward the Richmond, Virginia area today. (Thursday) It will be bringing gusting winds of 45-45mph. Hopefully we won't get to much damage.

Update: Apparently Zeta had other plans and did not stop by.

**********

I've been working on a re-organization project for the garage and the attic. Everything was hastily put in each area during the move back in January. Yes, I know it's been several months.

Anyway it is finished and now we're looking at getting the garage walls finished and painted as well as putting down a garage epoxy on the floor. One of neighbors Mike had this completed and Dee and I like it.

The flooring would be similar to this.

More on this later.

On this day, October 30, 1938, Orson Wells, "The War of the Worlds" was broadcast on the radio. Read about it here.

Just in case you're interested, "The Mandalorian," Season 2 starts today.

I keep trying, but it never really pans out.

OBX, Mandolin and Miniatures

**********

It has been awhile but Dee and I have not been ill, sick or depressed with this coronavirus issue. We are settled into our new home and continue to enjoy the "newness." We have added curtains, some new furniture and have discovered the enjoyment of our lanai.

The good Lord continues to watch over us, our family and our friends.

**********

We made our annual trip to OBX. The weather was a mix of rain and sunshine but I was still able to complete my exercise walks through the village of Duck.

There were no trips to the outlets like we usually do, but the ladies did manage to spend some time away from the beach house.

It was an enjoyable relaxing week which provided an enjoyable break from being cooped up in the house.

I've picked up the mandolin once again. Using a combination of my lesson book and internet lesson sites.

**********

Miniature painting has not been as intense as usual, just need to get back to it on a more regular basis. However, I did complete some "road sections." I posted an article with photos at:

New road sections for Briatun

I've decided to upgrade my Samsung 22" monitor to a Samsung 27" FHD Curved Monitor with 1000R curvature and minimalist design with 3-sided borderless screen.

More takes over at Kelly's.
